European Baseball Championship 2023

The Red Hawks will be battling it out at the Baseball European Championship 2023, which will be held in the Czech Republic from Sunday, September 24 to Sunday, October 1, 2023.

The top 16 European countries – A pool – will compete for the title of European Champion and World Cup spots in 5 different Czech cities. After the great performance of the Belgian Men’s Softball Team – a fourth place at the European Softball Men’s Championship this summer – all eyes are now on the baseball men.

The Red Hawks were strengthened this year with an extensive coaching staff – led by Paco Garcia and former international Benjamin Dille – and have completed two preparation programs. In 2019, our National Team achieved seventh place and in 2021 eighth place at the European Championships. Now there is a new generation of players who cannot wait to match or improve on these results.

The 16 participating countries are divided into 4 groups in the first round of the 2023 European Championship.
Belgium starts in Group D together with Israel, Germany and Switzerland.
