B-Pool U-23 Baseball Euros get underway 5th of August in Zurich, Switzerland

The first of two U-23 Baseball European Championships B-Pool will be played in Zurich, Switzerland this week. The Young Red Hawks will be competing!

The ballpark at the Heerenschürli in Zurich will host five teams from 5 -10 August 2024 , vying to qualify for next year’s U-23 Baseball European Championship in Trebic, Czechia.

The U-23 Baseball National Teams from Belgium, Israel, Lithuania, Poland and host Switzerland will compete this week in Zurich in the B-Pool U-23 Baseball Euros. Belgium lost its spot in the A-Pool getting relegated at the U-23 Baseball European Championship last year.

From Monday to Friday the preliminary round robin will take place with the top two teams advancing to the final on Saturday 10 August at 13:30 CEST. During the first round two games will be played each day at 13:30 and 18:00.

The young Red Hawks will start off against Poland on Tuesday 6th of August at 13:30.

Zurich is hosting one of the two B-Pool U-23 Baseball European Championships this week with Budapest, Hungary being the home for the second group. The two winners will play in the U-23 Baseball European Championship with Trebic, Czechia already known as hosting city in 2025.
