In D1 Softball Ladies, Mont-Saint-Guibert Phoenix and defending champion Beveren Lions were, just like last year, the two strongest in the regular competition. They were to battle it out in the best-of-5 Belgian Series, after a tough season with many international obligations and at the beginning of this month a Women's Softball European Championship in which Belgium performed well.
Where it was evenly matched last year between MSG and Beveren (where the Lions won the decider for the 2023 Championship), this year on paper it looked more one-sided even though some spectacular games were played - especially the final. In the end the Ladies of Mont-Saint-Guibert Phoenix won 3 games in a row and were crowned Belgian Ladies Softball Champion 2024. Congratulations!
