The U-22 Women's Softball European Championship 2024 will kick off on August 5 with a lineup of 12 games on day one of a total of 59 games scheduled throughout the week.
The first-day schedule promises thrilling games, with key matchups including
Belgium vs Finland at 11:15 and
Belgium vs Austria at 15:45
The participating teams have been divided into four groups:
- Group A: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Finland
- Group B: Denmark, Israel, Poland, Switzerland
- Group X: France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy
- Group Y: Czechia, Ireland, Netherlands, Ukraine
The tournament structure ensures a competitive environment, with the top eight teams from the previous championship placed in groups Y and X, automatically qualifying for the second phase of the event.
In the previous edition, Italy secured the title, followed by Czechia in second place, Netherlands in third, and Spain in fourth. These teams are anticipated to perform well again, making them the ones to watch throughout the championship.
