The tryout in Antwerp for the U18 Softball National Team was cancelled twice. To give the players another chance, an extra tryout will be held on May 1st. Due to logistical reasons (field availability, competition, other events, deadlines for pre-selections) this tryout will not be held in Antwerp but in Merchtem during the "Softball Rookies Event". This gives the coaches a chance to have an extensive tryout with a small game to close it off. The event will be divided into rookies and advanced so that all players get a chance to show what they can do.

After this last tryout, the selection will be announced during the weekend of May 6-7.
