Hoboken Pioneers kick off Confederation Cup

Croatia's Karlovac is this year's host for the Baseball European Confederation Cup 2023 in which seven teams from June 7th until June 11th will compete for a spot in next year's Baseball European Champions Cup.

Hoboken Pioneers is one of those 7 teams trying to earn a spot to the top tier in the system of Baseball European Cups. In last year's Baseball Confederation Cup, the second tier in the system, the Pioneers fell just short in the finals against the 2022 host, the Rouen Huskies. This year they will go up against Astros Valencia (ESP), Vienna Wanderers (AUT) and host Olimpija Karlovac (CRO) in group A. The Therwil Flyers (SUI), Savigny Lions (FRA) and Tenerife Marlins (ESP) make up group B. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the semi-finals on Sunday.

7/6, 10:00 | Astros Valencia - Hoboken Pioneers
8/6, 13:30 | Hoboken Pioneers - Vienna Wanderers
9/6, 17:00 | Olimpija Karlovac - Hoboken Pioneers
