3 coaches have put themselves forward and will be leading this aspiring project:

Ambitious as they are, the staff has already held a first meeting with the pre-selection of players and discussed the planning and their commitment. The pre-selection initially consisted of 22 players, but some boys had to drop out due to other obligations. “So we’re currently starting to work with a selection of 18 players, to which players could still be added or cut. And with a coaching staff of three to which a 4th could be added. Full selection and staff all depend on the available budget”, according to Lukas Van der Linden. “The objective is to prepare for the European Championship with this pre-selection in progress and we hope to return with a European Championship medal”, like they did in 2016.
In preparation, the following activities have been planned:
- 24 February 2023 – indoor intersquad game at Sporthal De Polder, Berendrecht
- 25-26 March 2023 – International Tournament Haarlem (NL)
- 27-28-29 May 2023 – International Tournament Zeist (NL)
- Practices will be held the first Monday of the month at Royal Greys.
