Stabroek Chicaboo's and Hoboken Pioneers set to shine in European Cups.

We eagerly await the action-packed games that will unfold in Italy from August 21th to August 26th, as the Stabroek Chicaboo's and Hoboken Pioneers embark on their journey to their respective Softball European Cups. Both teams earning a belgian ticket because of their results in 2022.

Stabroek Chicaboo's

Exciting times are ahead for the Stabroek Chicaboo's as they gear up to represent Belgium in the Women's Softball European Premier Cup. The tournament is scheduled to take place from August 21st to August 26th in the picturesque cities of Legnano and Saronno, Italy. As last year's champions of the D1 Women's Softball league in Belgium, the Chicaboo's have rightfully earned their spot in this premier event.

During the tournament's first round robin, the Chicaboo's will compete in Group A against other formidable teams from across Europe:

  • Joudrs Praha (CZE)
  • Olympia Haarlem (NED)
  • Rivas Madrid (ESP)
  • Wittenbach Panthers (SUI)

Teams that will compete in group B are Bonn Capitals (GER), Les Pharaons (FRA), Saronno (ITA), Tex Town Tigers (NED) and Vienna Wanderers (AUT).

Hoboken Pioneers

As the Chicaboo's prepare to make their mark in the European Premier Cup, another Belgian team, the Hoboken Pioneers, will also be participating in the Women's Softball European Winners Cup A. This parallel event, taking place in Caronno, Italy, adds an extra layer of excitement to the softball scene in Belgium, as both teams aim to bring home victory for their nation. Hoboken Pioneers finished as runner up in last year's D1 Softball Competition, earning them the Belgian Ticket to the Winners Cup A.

  • Sparks Haarlem (NED)
  • Tempo Praha (CZE)
  • Wesseling Vermins (GER)
