The Championship will take place in October, spread over two days, the 7th and 8th, in a location that still needs to be confirmed. Baseball Softball Vlaanderen is allowing club applications for the honors of hosting the event up until September 4th. After this deadline the hosting club will be announced.
This playoff tournament will showcase the skill and determination of the Baseball U12 and U15 players from all over Belgium. A total of 16 teams, comprising 8 teams in the U12 category and 8 teams in the U15 category, will be invited to compete for the title of champion.
The objective of this Championship is not only to determine the champions but also to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among the youth baseball community in Belgium. We believe that this event will provide a fantastic platform for young athletes to showcase their talents and to experience the joy of playing at a competitive level.
Apart from the exciting competition, we are also excited to celebrate the champions. The winning teams of both categories will receive their well-deserved prizes and be honored immediately on the event days. The joy and excitement of this celebration will undoubtedly create cherished memories for all participants.
8 teams of the U12 category will be invited to compete on October 7th. On this day there will be two single elimination tournaments, Gold and Silver. The structure of both
tournaments can be found below:
U12 Youth Baseball Championship Brackets
For the first round in the gold tournament the #1 ranked team in the U12 Gold league after the regular season has ended (GOLD #1) will play the #4 seed (GOLD #4). The #3 seed (GOLD #3) will play against the #2 seed (GOLD #2) of the U12 Gold league. Both winners of these games will advance to a championship game.
The same structure of games applies for the silver tournament, but the #5 ranked team in the U12 Gold league after the regular season has ended (GOLD #5) will play against the #1 ranked team in the U12 Silver A league (SILVER A #1). The #1 team in the U12 Silver B league (Silver B #1) will play against the #1 team of the U12 Silver C league (Silver C #1).
The same structure of gold and silver applies for the U15 categories as well.
