The Spring Camp 2024, held at Beveren Lions and Hoboken Pioneers, saw the participation of the newly formed coaching staff for the Senior Softball National Team with Sven Hendrickx, Jamie Flynn, Nicky Mertens and Reagen Radke. Also present was U22 Softball Head Coach Sarah Van Der Meiren. Their expertise was complemented by a series of guest instructors, and so the players had the priviledge of learning from Griet Van Doorslaer, Sandy Lauwers, Lesley Felix, Gwendy De Jaegher, Riley Donovan, Xander Verspreet, and Jasper Lanoote.
The Training sessions were extensive, covering all aspects of the game. Players worked on baserunning, situational hitting, slapping/bunting, pitching and catching, and fielding. Beyond individual skills the camp also saw some team-building activities.
Each day concluded with a series of games and scrimmages, providing the perfect opportunity for players to showcase their skills in a competitive environment.
